https://dunstan.org.au/adelaide-zero-project/dashboard/ (above) Forage Supply Company of Adelaide has designed and built a prototype of a living pod for homeless people. The projected community of pods resemble cararvans in a park with garden space and a communal area. Click on photo to read article in Indaily.com.au . (Adelaide Homeless Journal October 2020).
(above) But is the bed long enough and could the thin ladder be a problem for long-term homeless people who often have balancing, phobia and physical disabilities? Same with the chair. It is too high and too cruel looking. It should be low and soft. Lighting should be subdued as homeless people have a high frequency of epilepsy. (Adelaide Homeless Journal October 2020).
(above) The pods may seem cheap and humiliating, but after being homeless a long time, people often prefer a tiny living area amongst their own social group instead of being placed in a run-down unit or house in a junkie-ridden suburb. The key to such a pod cluster being workable is its location and management. Will the lives of its tenants be respected? (Adelaide Homeless Journal October 2020).
(above) Sue Koumidis at Semaphore Park. A security camera truck was parked in front of her house earlier this week. Perhaps Sue is concerned that her wife's smashing of neighbours' car windows will bring a similar response to her car. Or that the Cartel will blame her wife's rampaging for attracting undercover police walking the area. (Adelaide Homeless Journal October 2020).

"Fortunately, some are born with spiritual immune systems that sooner or later give rejection to the illusory worldview grafted upon them from birth through social conditioning. They begin sensing that something is amiss, and start looking for answers. Inner knowledge and anomalous outer experiences show them a side of reality others are oblivious to, and so begins their journey of awakening. Each step of the journey is made by following the heart instead of following the crowd and by choosing knowledge over the veils of ignorance." ― Henri Bergson Status Quote 31 October 2020 Fred’s Van Salisbury
